Ndidi Onukwulu, professionally known as Ndidi O, is an award-winning Contemporary Roots & Blues singer-songwriter. She has roamed far and wide from the small northern BC town of Burns Lake where she grew up. In her youth, she did stints in New York, Toronto, Paris and Los Angeles, honing her craft as a soulful singer that deftly moves between soul, blues, contemporary roots, folk and Americana. A two-time JUNO award nominee and the 2019 Western Canadian Music Awards winner for Blues Artist of the Year, Ndidi has released seven solo albums to date with her newest album released in April 2024 (produced by Steve Dawson, Hen House Records).
Ndidi Odescribes her style as “rootsy blues with a tinge of soul and country”, but her musical adventures include wanderings that touch down on forms that include trip-hop, gospel, surf music, country, and electric blues. Her expressive vocal range is truly dynamic and utterly impressive: delicate and almost ethereal at one moment, unleashing the raw and fearsome power of an Etta James and blowing the roof off the place in another. Ndidi O’s live performances crackle with electricity and passion; this extraordinary artist is one that needs to be on your “must see” list.
She sees music as “an emotional way of understanding the world.” Her versatile and exciting musical world is one you are going to want to inhabit with her.

Beau Wheeler is a queer non-binary singer and songwriter based on the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples known as Vancouver. Blessed with a set of pipes that would be the envy of Torch and Twang era KD Lang or a young Robert Plant, theirs is a music that encompasses a wide spectrum of human experience. With songs that touch on love, loss and redemption, and an unflagging ability to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again, Beau, who recently came out to the world as trans, is one of Canada’s brightest lights and an artist to watch out for.
Their music pulls no punches as it shines a light on gender, surviving cancer, and the all too human experience of love in a way that turns the dark and sour stuff of life into something beautiful and hopeful. Beau’s songs remind us that “we’ve all been there” and that no matter how low you are feeling that there’s hope. You’re not alone.
Over the years, Beau has performed at the Vancouver Juno Awards (2018), recorded and toured with several of their own bands as well as contributing vocals to “A Small Wonder” by A.C. Newman of the New Pornographers, and has shared the stage with many ground breaking artists including Dan Mangan, Shane Koyczan and Tanya Tagaq. Beau just released a new album called “Flying Colours” and has another one produced by Jason Corbett of Actors on the way. Beau’s dynamic range can lift an audience to its feet in a moment and in the next, stop your heart so the whole room could hear a pin drop. Beau’s music is the light at the end of the tunnel, a message of hope in dark times.
