Stepping into a brand new school is a time for New Perspectives. This annual collaboration between New Westminster Secondary School Fine Arts Program and the Plaskett Gallery is the work in a variety of mediums from current NWSS students.
This exhibition is a showcase of young and emerging talent in a variety and broad range of styles, skills, and forms that students study in their art classes.
It also is a celebration of young artists taking their first tentative steps into the paradox of disciplined experimentation from which great art springs.
New Perspectives was coordinated by NWSS Art Teachers Mary-Joanne Hunt and Keith Randall.
