Pete Kohut is a self-taught artist currently enrolled part-time in the Visual Arts program at the University of Victoria. His work has been shown in Central and Southern Vancouver Island and Greater Vancouver. In 2010, Kohut was a finalist in the First Annual Victoria Emerging Artist Awards and has since had solo shows in Victoria.
Slowly, he made his way to the West Coast (Victoria) where he now works as an in-house book designer for a local publisher.
