A double bill with Coco Love Alcorn and Khari Wendell McClelland creates a spirited combination. The soulful sounds of these two original artists both reflect the future of a soul / gospel sound. Coco Love Alcorn writes songs borrowing from the traditions of folk, soul and gospel elevated by her soaring and stylish vocals. McClelland’s music integrates the rhythms and folklore of early African-Americans with contemporary sounds with his powerful soulful voice. This promises to be an exceptional night in the theatre as the two are joined for a portion of the concert by a choir of 80 singers.
